TEE OFF Against Hunger

What's better than a day on the golf course? A day on the golf course that helps fight hunger in our communities. Second Harvest Food Bank's Annual Golf Tournament is tauted among former participants as one of the best charity golf tournaments running in Northwest NC. Held each year in August at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, players can choose a morning or afternoon round of play. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available to all players, who also enjoy a goodie bag and the opportunity to win one or more great door prizes. Proceeds benefit our food distribution program, which operates to transport, collect, inspect, sort and distribute donated food to more than 400 non-profit organizations dedicated to feeding people at risk of hunger and others in need, as well as our Kids Cafe and BackPack programs. Tee Off Against Hunger 2010 is set for Wednesday, August 11 at Tanglewood Park in Clemmons, NC.
Morning and afternoon tournaments are available.
