Each year, our friends in the food industry, and YOU, their customers, join together to provide food assistance to people in need across Northwest NC. Throughout the holiday season, participating grocery retailers make it easy to donate food and funds to Second Harvest Food Bank. Look for special displays in your local grocery store and help Second Harvest Food Bank bring the spirit of the season to its partner agencies and those they serve.

Food Lion Hunger Has A Cure
September 3 - December 31

Food Lion customers can support Second Harvest Food Bank during the Hunger Has A Cure Food Drive by dropping donations of nonperishable food items in specially marked bins in participating stores.

Harris Teeter Harvest Feast
October 29 - December 2

Join Harris Teeter in helping to reduce hunger in our communities and support the Harvest Feast Food Drive. Simply drop your donations of nonperishable food items in specially marked bins in the stores or purchase a donation card and Second Harvest Food Bank will use it to purchase nutritious products to benefit our partner agencies.

Lowes Foods Friends Feeding Friends
November 5 - December 31

Your neighborhood Lowes Foods Stores want to make it easy for you to participate in the annual Friends Feeding Friends Food Drive to help feed those in need this holiday season. You can donate food by purchasing a specially marked bag of food or by purchasing a Lowes Foods gift card. And remember, you can donate your greenpoints all year long to help feed our hungry neighbors.
