Feeding Change: An Interactive Community Conversation on Hunger

Ideas Big And Small Emerge From Hunger DiscussionWFDD

Feeding Change: An Interactive Community Conversation on Hunger took place on Thursday, September 10th, at Wake Forest Innovation Quarter. More than 160 people from the community came together to share ideas and discuss ways to alleviate hunger in our region. Thank you to everyone who came!

Check out #FeedingChange on social media to get a sense of what transpired and see some of the ideas that were generated!

Feeding Change utilized the World Cafe Method to foster meaningful small-group discussions about the issue of hunger in our Piedmont community, with the intention of arriving at potential solutions.

This free event was presented in partnership with 88.5 WFDD and Wake Forest University's Pro Humanitate Institute. Wake Forest University Provost Rogan Kersh led the final discussion as the small groups were invited to share their insights. A reception catered by Providence Catering followed the conversation.

Wake Forest Innovation Quarter is located in downtown Winston-Salem at 575 North Patterson Avenue. Please use the main entrance, located on Patterson.
