More and more, people are looking for alternatives to traditional holiday gift giving – simple yet memorable ways to remember friends, family and associates.

Sound familiar? Wouldn’t knowing that your gifts to others are also helping to a put a meal on the table for a child, senior or family in need add special meaning to those gifts? Perhaps ‘tis the season to give a Gift Outside the Box.

Here's how it works:

1- Make your list of names and addresses.

2- Send it, along with a check payable to Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC, to 3655 Reed Street, Winston-Salem, NC  27107. (Requested donation is $10/card)

Friends, family, teachers, employees...everyone on your list will receive a personalized Gift Outside the Box card informing them that a gift has been made by you in their honor.

Prefer to address and mail your own cards? Order a pack of eight assorted cards. Either way, you’ll have the good feeling that comes from knowing that for each $1 you donate, Second Harvest Food Bank can obtain and distribute food enough for seven meals for people in need in our community.
